Last days of autumn

Just a few weeks left until one of my favourite months of the year and I so excited about starting my little festive project here, on my blog. From next week, all my posts are going to be about the festive season. Throwing and going to parties, outfits, Christmas presents, holidays, and everything with a little more glitter on top. Until then, here’s a last list of things to do in these remaining days of autumn.

1. See the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery- this is the cultural event of the year, a once in a lifetime opportunity, therefore you have no excuse to miss it.

2. If you haven’t already, start working on your Christmas gifts list. Take enough time to think about every special person in your life and to search for the perfect present.

3. Watch the magnificent Michelle Williams in ‘My week with Marilyn’, the movie of the month.

4. Watch ‘Wuthering Heights’, a classic with a modern, edgy twist.

5. Visit the chic Ordovas gallery on Savile Row until December 16 for a stunning Bacon and Rembrandt exhibition.

6. Forget about Waitrose for at least a while and go shopping for food at the Borough Market. Even if there are many tourists, go there early in the morning and splurge.

7. ‘Shoes for Show’ at 91 Brick Lane is the must-see exhibition for all those who love Louboutins, Ferragamos and some of Isabella Blow’s fierce heels.

8. Have cocktails at the Fumoir at Claridge’s. Your fur and red lipstick are a mandatory.

9. Sit by the fireplace in the Palmerston pub in Dulwich.  With a glass of red and a good book.

10. Go to the countryside for the weekend. Here’s my very indulgent pick.
