My ladies

When I was a teenager I never kept photos of pop stars or actors on my bedroom walls. I’ve never had idols and I was nobody’s fan. I don’t even believe in role models because I hate the idea of ever imitating someone. We all do, to a certain extent but I prefer to learn everyday how to admire people rather than think I should be like them one day, steal their ideas or personality. When it comes to style, though, it is very hard no to let myself be influenced by certain people and I take inspiration from other lovely women. What that means is paying attention to the details, the way they speak, walk, stand, dress and to what makes them unique. Seeing someone wearing an interesting outfit and getting the same the next day is unacceptable past the age of 15. In one of my previous posts I mentioned how people who work in creative fields have mood boards. I love having them as all and today, I am going to put together for you a little unconventional mood board of my favourite stylish women.

Marie Antoinette as portrayed by Sofia Coppola in her movie.

To me, the embodiment of elegance, grace, loveliness and femininity.

My definition of sexy.

The muse.

The business woman and the revolutionary of elegance.

The symbol of old Hollywood glamour.

Lolita.

The modern Audrey.

The bombshell.

The pretty, pretty woman.

The woman with a fire inside.

The ballerina.

The French.

The Italian.

Carrie.
