Milano, tu mi manchi
In May, as a birthday present, I got to spend a few days in Milan. It was exquisite. I loved everything about that city, not only the expensive clothes and the way people were dressed. The way they walked and talked, how they carried themselves on those beautiful streets, how they dined and wined. I did nothing for 4 days but walk around, eat, drink and for once enjoy the true dolce far niente.
Because the days are cold and gloomy in London right now, I feel a little nostalgic and dream of a sunny day spent in front of il duomo. To put this to good use, I thought of sharing a few photos and some of my discoveries while wandering the streets of Milan.
10 Corso Como- this place has become my favourite concept store in the whole world. It is perfect: not too big, but not too small, quintessencially Italian and oh, so elegant.

The best pizza in town at Anema e Cozze on via Toledo. The wine was also superb.

The best quatro formaggi pasta at a small ristorante on Corso Como. I can’t remember the name, but I shall never forget the lunch there. Divine.

The beautiful Santa Marie delle Grazie church where The Last Supper is. You need to book tickets weeks, even months in advance if you want to see the painting.

The best gelato in Navigli. You can’t sit but you can enjoy the amazing ice cream while walking along Naviglio Grande.

If you only have a long weekend, other than eat pizza and gelato, you could also try the D&G Martini bar, visit Castello Sforzesco and its beautiful park and shop in Brera. For now, enjoy another few photos and book tickets to Milano as soon as you can. It is a lovely, lovely city.
